Bowling

For the past six or seven years, my extended family has bowled a few games to start off the new year.  For most of us, it is the only time we bowl each year.  Although I have my own bowling ball, bag and shoes (thanks to a birthday gift from Haylee), the last time I bowled was 365 days ago.

There were 13 adults and 4 kids this year.  My team gave it a good try with Paul bowling the game of his life (he said with help from heaven) we lost the first by twenty pins.  Personally, my goal is a 100, and I bowled an 85 the first game inproving to 121 the second.  We lost that game too.  Great fun was had and thoughts of Haylee were abundant!   A happy start to the new year.
