Crunchy Snow

It's really cold outside.  I hear the snow crunching under my neighbors car as they leave the driveway.  It always seems that the brighter the sun, the crunchier the snow!

It looks so pretty with the deep blue winter sky and the sun glistening off the white of the snow.  It's almost peaceful...until you here the crunch!  The sound stirs up winter just as the smell of the leaves in autumn fill the air.

I can always tell if it's really cold just by the crunch of the snow.
