Non-compliance Leads to Chaos

A method that worked.

Gone are the days when a person was humiliated for not following the rules. When a person is humiliated for something, they tend NOT to ever do that again.  It's actually an easier way to learn than learning the hard way; when there is a more permanent consequence of said behavior.

Civilizations are created by people who make and follow rules or procedures that benefit the group.  When you are compliant, you are inclined to agree with others and obey the rules of the group. When you are NOT compliant, complete disorder and confusion, aka chaos will be caused in the group. Come on people, don't you want to do the right thing?

This chaos I fear, is what my dear country, the United States of America, is turning into. It seems that we have no order. We no longer follow the rules or protocols. We have forgotten that procedures help keep people safe. They are tested and true. I used to love to drive.  Drivers followed the rules of the highway, or lost the privilege to drive. Now drivers are only concerned with getting where ever they are going in the fast way possible.

 Get Smart America!  We are fighting total KAOS and need CONTROL!  Where are Agent 86 and Agent 99 when you need them?

It has been five days.  The grieving process has begun for myself and many around me.  It's a  beast this thing called grief.  It attaches to or attacks each of us differently.  When my mother lost my sister Barb, she named her grief George.  I think I too will have a name for my grief.  I've been thinking about Clarence.  I always loved the character Clarence Odbody.    He was only doing what was right and tried to have a little fun along the way.  He kept things simple.  I like simple.  I won't mind if Clarence hangs around awhile. Responsible

Responsible: having an obligation to do something, or having control over or care for someone, as part of one's job or role. I am responsible for many things whether I am at work or at home.  I don't always like it.  Sometimes, I do not want to be responsible.  I want to slack off or not care or just be the opposite of responsible.

Vaccine Day!

Today I was able to get my 1st dose of the Pfizer - Covid 19 vaccine. Our county vaccinated 8,000 teachers in two days! It was very well run. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes including the 15 minute wait afterwards. It's been about five hours since and my arm is a bit sore now. I can't remember the last time I got a vaccine. Probably a tetnus shot. --- Those really hurt. Anyway, I'm glad to do my part to get this pandemic under control. As I look at my calorie tracker for the day: 1750 calories food and 59 oz. water.
